To drive sales, account management, and business development within the Central European automotive industry, we are seeking an experienced:
Senior Account Manager (f/m/d)
Automotive Cyber security solutions and services
Location: Germany (Home office or presence in one of our client’s office locations)
Tasks:
- Implement and continuously refine our client’s sales strategy for Central Europe.
- Identify, generate, and develop new business opportunities, building a strong sales pipeline for our client’s portfolio of products and services.
- Establish and nurture influential relationships with key decision-makers in existing and target accounts, leveraging industry events and conferences to expand business opportunities.
- Maintain a precise and up-to-date sales forecast, ensuring transparency and strategic decision-making.
- Lead contract negotiations, incorporating both commercial and legal elements to secure successful agreements.
- Facilitate seamless communication and collaboration with internal teams, including solution engineering, product marketing, and engineering, to ensure alignment with market needs
Requirements:
- Extensive sales and business development experience in the automotive industry, specializing in one or more of the following areas: cybersecurity, in-vehicle networking, vehicle connectivity, embedded software or related fields.
- Demonstrated expertise in prospecting, business development, market and account planning, relationship management, value-based and team-based selling, as well as contract negotiation and closing.
- Consistent track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Well-established network within selected automotive OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers.
- Fluency in German and English is required.
- Willingness to travel within Germany and across Europe.
