Technical pre-sales manager (f/m/d) – Automotive Software Solutions

Our client is a market leading manufacturer of software solutions for industrial cyber security applications (e.g. ECU and network protection suites, consulting services like threat assessments, security audits, incident response services etc.)

To support our client’s sales and key account management team in Germany in all technical aspects of the pre-sales process, we are looking for an experienced:

Technical pre-sales manager (f/m/d)

Automotive Software Solutions

Location: Germany (Home office or presence in one of our client’s  offices in Munich, Stuttgart or Frankfurt )

Tasks:

  • Be the technical window person for automotive customers (OEM and Tier1 suppliers mainly in Germany) during the pre-sales process (RFI/RFQ/POC…)
  • Manage and lead technical customer engagements
  • Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations and training to convey the value of our client’s solutions and to find a best match to their customers‘
  • Take part in technical evaluations of customer system and software architectures as well as future product concepts and respective requirements
  • Closely interact with our client’s related teams (engineering, sales marketing, delivery etc.)

 Requirements:

  • Degree in computer science, electronics, software engineering or similar
  • Experience in the automotive software domain, ideally in cyber-security
  • Professional experience in one of the following fields: pre-sales, technical account management or project/programme management in the automotive software domain
  • Solid knowledge of in-vehicle networks, V2X, connectivity or similar fields
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (technical workshops and demos)
  • Independent work-style and self management skills
  • Fluency in English and German
